Yesterday was the last official day of summer and I have to say: I am so ready for cooler weather. This year may look a little different without tailgates and Halloween parties but you can still make the most of autumn from home. In this post, I'm sharing my favorite cozy fall essentials, from sweaters to decor. Grab your favorite warm drink, whether it’s apple cider or a pumpkin spice latte, and get ready to watch Hocus Pocus for the millionth time because it’s fall y’all.

October means sweater weather! I love buying sweaters in neutral colors so I can wear them with anything. Bold patterns, like colorblocking and preppy argyle, are trending this fall, but basics never go out of style. These sweaters are some of my must-haves for the fall season.

Scented Candles

You bet I pulled my pumpkin spice candle out of my closet and burned it on September 1st. I also really love the 'Cozy Nights' candle by Opalhouse from Target for a subtle fall and winter scent. Fall candles are perfect to set the mood in your living space.

Trendy Nail Polish

I've talked before about how painting my nails is my favorite form of self care (it forces you to stop what you're doing while they dry!). I'm starting to trade in my summery turquoise and pinks for toned down fall colors. Essie's fall nail polish collection is a fun mixture of autumn shades.

Fun Fall Decor

Let's face it, we're going to be spending a lot of time at home this fall. Make that the perfect excuse to surround yourself with faux pumpkins and other fall decorations. Shop small on Etsy or get some Pinterest inspiration and upcycle items you already have!

Themed Coffee Mugs

Make your own Pumpkin Spice Latte and sip from one of these fun coffee mugs, which are sure to get you in the Halloween or autumn spirit. I'm more of a hot chocolate gal, but I still love a good seasonal mug.
