About

I’m Caiti, a recent graduate of Missouri State University. While in college, I got involved in my sorority and on campus while working towards my Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations. But you didn’t come here to read my resume. During college, I found it hard to define myself beyond the organizations I was involved in. I knew what I was passionate about and I was learning what I was good at, but I struggled with the concept of turning that into a career. So here I am, another twenty-something still figuring out what I want to be when I grow up.

When I’m not blogging, you’ll find me jamming to Taylor Swift in my car, taking self-care trips to Target and binge watching bad VH1 reality shows from the early 2000s.

When I was growing up, I was the kid that fell asleep reading a book and brought that book to the breakfast table to keep going. I said I was going to write my own and filled countless notebooks with "Chapter One"s. My favorite class through high school was English. It always came back to writing and reading, one way or another. Now, in job interviews, I get the question: "Where do you see yourself in five years?" And I'm not completely sure, but I think it will come back to writing - which is why I started this blog.

This actually isn’t my first blog - I started one while I was in high school and carried it into college. During the beginning of my senior year, a friend of mine asked for advice about starting her own blog. When she first texted me, I thought lol, why me?  The readers of Caiti Nicole hadn’t heard from me for months. It wasn’t long after that I decided I would relaunch myself into the blogging world, taking the time to design my blog exactly how I wanted before the initial launch. It was definitely a slow and steady race (with a few pauses) but we're live now!

Now that I’m a certified adult™, you’ll find posts about what inspires me in my post grad life and my adventures in Saint Louis and beyond.
